We hope that your Thanksgiving was absolutely wonderful, filled with family, friends and lots of great food! Our Thanksgiving Feast here at Little Ones was super. Thank you all who contributed food and paper supplies for our “feast.”
Christmas Program
December is going to be a very special month here at Little Ones. Our annual Christmas program is being held on Friday, December 8th. The children need to arrive at 6:45 p.m. and we will start the program at 7:00 (doors open at 6:45). We have all been singing away, getting ready for the big night so please come and join us for this fun and festive evening. The program lasts approx. 30 minutes.
Christmas Program Rehearsals
We will be rehearsing for our Christmas program the week of December 4th, Monday thru Friday, beginning at approximately 9:20 a.m. If your child does not attend school each of these days, please feel free to come at this time so that your child can participate in our rehearsals .
Sees Candy Fundraiser
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Sees Candy Fundraiser. Your time, effort and sales skills are greatly appreciated. We will be posting the names of the winning families on the Parent Information board as soon as everything is tallied. We will distribute the candy to you with your order form as soon as we receive it. Thank you!
Closed for the Holidays
Little Ones will be closed Monday, December 25th and Tuesday, December 26th. We will also be closed on Monday, January 1st and Tuesday, January 2nd .
Christmas Holiday Attendance
We realize that many people leave town or have company during the holidays. If your child will be absent in December or January, please sign up on the bulletin board so that we can staff accordingly and we can bill you accordingly. Reminder: for vacations you pay 1/2 price for the time your child is out 1 week or longer with a maximum of 2 weeks’ vacation per calendar year.Thank you!
Book Orders
Please see the attached book order forms for a wonderful selection of children’s books. There is something for every taste and preference. For every book you order, Little Ones receives a credit toward books for our school library. Please have your order forms turned in by Friday, December 15th. Thank you!
Just a couple friendly reminders:
Please remember to bring in a clean large crib sheet, a small blanket and a pillow case, all clearly labeled, for your child every week. We do not supply bedding so your child must have one brought from home to ensure a comfortable nap. Your child must also have a full set of clean clothes, the correct size and warmth, clearly labeled, in their cubby at all times. If your child is potty training, please include plenty of extra clothes, undies, socks, bottoms and tops. From shirt to shoes, we never know what sort of incident may call for a change of clothing.
Sickness Policy
If your child has a fever, throws up or has diarrhea, they cannot return to school until they have been symptom free at least 24 hrs. This is for the protection of all the children and teachers to help prevent spreading of viruses.
End of the Year Account Closing
The end of the year is upon us and it is time to close the year’s accounts. This will be happening on Friday, December 29h. Any payments received after this date will be applied to the 2018 calendar year.We will have tax info. for you in January.
