November 2017 Newsletter

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever”  Psalm 107:1

It’s hard to believe that November is already here with the holidays so quickly approaching!  This is such a wonderful time of year and we all have so many things to be thankful for!

Harvest Party

The Harvest Party was a huge success with a great time had by all.  Thank you to everyone who donated tasty treats, paper products and time.  Our costume parade was too cute for words.  If you have any pictures you would like to share, please feel free to bring them in.

Lunch Reminder

Candy and gum are not allowed at school.  Please do not send these items in your child’s lunch.

Thanksgiving Feast

We will be hosting our annual Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday, November 21st  during our regular lunch time. On the menu this year will be turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, olives, rolls and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.  There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board in the foyer for food contributions.  Sorry, there are no grown-up tables available for this “kids only” feast.

Sights and Sounds

The lovely ladies from the Assistance League will once again be Sight and Sound testing our 4 and 5 year old children.  These women come and test your child’s vision and hearing using simple games and equipment.  This is a FREE service. Their visit is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th  at 9:30 a.m.  If you would like your child to participate, please sign up on their sheet posted on the bulletin board in foyer.

Christmas Program

Little Ones will be presenting its annual Christmas Program on Friday, December 8th  at 7:00PM in the church auditorium.  The children will need to arrive at school at 6:45. Doors will open at 6:45 for seating as well. This is a wonderful evening full of Christmas songs and very excited children.  It is also an opportunity for your child to wear their Christmas finery more than once!  Bring your

whole family!  The program is approx. 1/2 hr-45 min. long.

Holiday Closures

Please note the following days that Little Ones will be closed:  Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th for the Thanksgiving Holiday; Monday, December 25th  and Tuesday December 26th  for the Christmas Holiday; and Monday, January 1st and Tuesday January 2nd to celebrate the New Year.

You will be able to pick up your candy by December 15th.
